OMG :: $30 Bridesmaid Dress
Is it just me, or does this dress look eerily similar to this WAY more expensive Priscilla of Boston number?

Organize your Shower/Wedding/Life with Backpack!
I am going to shout from the rooftops how much I love this web app!!! Backpack is a list–making, data-saving, reminder-sending miracle that is RIDICULOUSLY intuitive.  The best part :: it’s FREE!!! Once you sign up and create a page, you can share it with others, allowing them full access to create their own lists, check off tasks, etc.   Invite your whole bridal party, your mom, the mom of the...

Shower Decor :: Part Deux
Remember those fab poofs we were just flaunting? Here’s a completely amazing way to reuse them! This ceiling sculpture is absolutely beautiful and simple to make.  Along with the poofs, the white eyelet lanterns are also available on Walmart.com.  The tissue paper orbs, however, are sold out. We’re going to try this ourselves and post a how-to soon! For additional images check out...

Delightful (non)Shower
Okay, so techinically this is a birthday party.  But what a wonderful summer shower it would make!  I am particularly in love with these tissue paper poofs.  Massive and fluffy, they instantly fill a space with fun and whimsy.  Like a Chow Chow. These poofs are available at both Walmart and Michaels (in store only) and there’s even a DIY on MarthaStewart.com!  Check out the full scoop...

Unify with a Dash of Sash!
Sashes are a great way to bring together varying dress shapes and sizes.  Each bridesmaid can select a dress that fits her best and the sash does the work of making y’all look assembled. Even better, many of the etsy resources will custom-make sashes to match the colors of the event- meaning hassle free searching for that perfect combo. The one up top Glitzy glamour yum yum Custom and...

Crafty Ladies :: Make The Ring Pillow
It seems that a certain amount of “What can I do to help?!”-related pressure comes along with the whole bridesmaid gig. Rather than waiting to be asked, start offering to do things the bride hasn’t even thought of yet. If you’re of the crafty persuasion, a home made ring bearer pillow is a simple yet special way to bring a bit of love to the big day. Your...

Welcome!
My best friend is getting married. I’m the maid of honor.  I love parties, I love dressing up and, most of all, I love Elizabeth. So I set out to become the most kickass MOH that ever was. After I spent days scouring the internet for creative shower ideas and dresses that were not icky, it occurred to me that either everyone in the whole wide world is a crappy bridesmaid or all the creative...
