Wedding Trend :: Engagement Session
As a public service to the Do The Bustle community, I’m going to create a series of posts about wedding trends and vocabulary. So when you’re lady says “Should I do an engagement session?” you’re response is something better than “Wha?!”
An engagement session is a photog shoot with a pro (usually the photographer snapping the wedding) during a couple’s engagement. The primary objective is to get more comfortable posing for a professional photographer, which can be weird. Added bonus :: the casual nature of an e-session offers a couple the opportunity to show off what makes them unique.
I kind of dig it, as pictures of you and your beau looking effortlessly saucy instead of dressed in white and surrounded by ice swans seems to make for better wall art.
